How it works
From first call to first load
Getting set up with Quick Link Trucking takes five straightforward steps. Here's what happens at each one — and what we'll ask you for.

How it works
Five steps from first call to first load
A straight run to getting dispatched — and you know your fee before you start.
Step 1: Tell us about your operation
Call, text or send the form. Tell us what you drive, where you like to run and how much home time you want.
Step 2: Agree on the details
We talk through your equipment, lanes and goals, and confirm the fee for your operation, which typically falls between 4% and 8%.
Step 3: Complete onboarding
We confirm which documents we need from you, usually your MC authority, certificate of insurance and a W-9, and how to send them securely.
Step 4: Review and approve loads
We bring you freight that fits your equipment and lanes. You decide which loads to run — the final call always stays with you.
Step 5: Roll with support behind you
We coordinate pickup, delivery and broker communication and keep the paperwork moving, with dispatch support available 24/7.
Onboarding
What onboarding usually needs
Requirements are confirmed with each carrier before you start. These are the documents most operations are asked for.
- MC authority documentation
- Certificate of insurance (COI)
- W-9
- Other carrier documents, as applicable to your operation
Please don't send documents through the website form. Once we've talked, we'll tell you how to share them securely.
Process questions
Common questions about getting set up
Something not covered here? Call or text (551) 239-9399.
What information do I need to get started?
To start, just tell us what you drive, where you like to run and your goals. For onboarding we'll usually ask for your MC authority documentation, a certificate of insurance and a W-9, plus any other carrier documents that apply to your operation. We confirm the exact list with each carrier and explain how to send documents securely — please don't send them through the website form.
How are loads selected and approved?
We search for freight that matches your equipment, lanes and rate, then bring you the options. You decide which loads to run. The final call on every load stays with you — we book nothing you haven't approved.
How are rates and dispatch fees determined?
Our dispatching fees typically range from 4% to 8%, depending on your equipment and dispatching needs. Contact us to discuss the rate applicable to your operation.
How do you handle broker communication and paperwork?
Once a load is booked we set up appointments, send check calls and stay in front of the broker, shipper and receiver through delivery. We also help prepare and track the paperwork each load needs — rate confirmations, carrier-setup packets and bills of lading — and keep it organized so you have what you need to deliver and get paid.
What happens after a load is delivered?
We help make sure the delivery paperwork is in order and close out the load, then move you onto the next one we've planned. Your billing and payment arrangements stay entirely in your hands; we keep the freight and the documents moving.
